Phantasmagoria

It’s the holiday season HENNY(!) and this year the women of the Martin-Abrams family are doing things a little bit differently… well they’ll have to since Busy’s husband died earlier this year. Now everyone’s in mourning and the holidays are becoming a drag, especially for Busy’s daughter, Leigh, who has a penchant for keeping secrets. Fortunately for Busy, Leigh, and the eccentric Grandma Bunny, this holiday will be one to remember! This campy, genre-switching holiday show is filled with magic, music, and drag, while speaking truth to the pressures we feel during the “happiest season of all".

Mary Shelley is on the verge of something spectacular… if only she could get the ending right. Monsters, monsoons, and memories of her dead family haunt her midnight pillow as she struggles to finish what will become one of the most celebrated novels of all time: Frankenstein. Not only is Mary suffering visitations from her recently deceased half-sister, but step-sister Clara is keeping a dangerous secret. As Clara’s situation becomes more dire, Mary must decide whether or not she will intervene on behalf of one of her last living family members, for she knows better than anyone that this is a matter of life and death. Phantasmagoria is an exploration on love, sisterhood, artistry, and genius, in what is ultimately a tender celebration of Mary Shelley’s forgotten personhood.

Ember

How do you say goodbye to a part of yourself without knowing what will be left without it? Kaleigh dissociated over five years ago, and has been living with two other dominant personalities since that day. Now Hannah is asking her to seek treatment, to “fix” her personalities, and to return to the world that caused her to dissociate in the first place. Ember is a burning one-act play about friendship, informed consent, and what happens when our empathy and understanding go up in smoke.

Bathroom Breaks is a ten-minute comedy about honesty, compassion, and knowing when to take a break.
